How to configure my email account with Outlook 365 ProPlus (Version 1708)?


Required

  1. Your email address @ b2b2c.ca.
  2. Your password for this email account.

You can find this information on your B2B2C Subscriber Area.

Please follow the steps below:

  • Open the Control Panel.
  • On the the top right corner of the page, select Small Icons.
  • Click on Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016).

Click on Email Accounts.

Click on New.

  • Click on Manual configuration or additional server types.
  • Click on Next.

  • Select POP or IMAP. 
  • Click on Next.

Fill in the following fields in the User information section:

  • Enter your Name.
  • Enter your Email Address.

Fill in the following fields  in the Server informations section:

  • Enter pop.b2b2c.ca in the box Incoming mail server.
  • Enter smtp.b2b2c.ca in the box Outgoing mail server (SMTP).

Fill in the following fields in the Logon Information section.

  • Enter you User Name.
  • Enter your Password.
  • Check the box Remember password.

 

  • Click on More Settings

  • Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentification.
  • Click on Advanced.

Fill in the following fields based on your choice of configurations:  POP or IMAP. If you’re unsure of what you should select, we recommend IMAP Follow the links at the bottom of this page for the POP and IMAP servers for a simple description of both.

POP

  • Enter 110 in the box Port.
  • Keep the box This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL / TLS) unchecked.
  • Enter 465 in the box Outgoing server (SMTP).
  • Keep the box use the following encrypted connection type unchecked.
  • Check the box leave a copy of the messages on the server.
  • Click on OK.

Click on a Close.

Click on Finish.
