How to use the “ Telephony Settings” page in the Subscriber Area?


Do you have a B2B2C telephone access service with voice mail or the ability to forward your calls? This page allows you to control these phone settings.   

First, if you have more then one telephone number, you will  need to select your phone number. To do sogo to the Telephony tab in your Subscriber Area interface and click on Choose your number. On this page, you can select the telephone number you want to administer.  

To view and ajust your telephony settings, go to the Telephony tab, click on the Configuration tab and then click on Telephony Settings.    

Options    

Language: Choose with this selector in which language you want the audio menus of your voice mailbox to be spoken. 

Confidential Lines: Force all outbound calls to be confidential. 

Blocked Numbers: Inbound calls are blocked for these numbers, one per line.
E164 format, with country code, ex: 1 514 908 5420 

Voicemail  

Message Included: Enabling this option adds a copy of the recorded voice message as an attachment to the notification email. 

Automatic messages deletion:  Enabling this option will automatically delete the voice message after the notification email is sent. 

Email Address: If you would like to receive an e-mail notification when a voice message is recorded, enter the e-mail address to which you want it to be sent. To stop receiving this type of notification, enter nothing in this field. 

Access code: Enter here the digits of the code you will have to dial to access your voicemail box from your telephone. 

Call transfer 

Manage my phonebook: Click on this link to edit the numbers you want to be able to forward your calls to. This directory allows you to easily choose the destination of your transfer among your usual numbers.  You can add a number at any time to keep it in your directory or for temporary use. Save your changes or cancel them to return to the previous page.  

Unconditional: If not “inactive”, all calls are forwarded to the selected directory number, irrespective of other call transfers defined.

Failover to Voice Mail : If “yes” is selected, sends to Voicemail if the number forwarded to does not answer.

Busy: If not “inactive”, calls are forwarded to the selected directory number when the line is busy.

Failover to Voice Mail : If “yes” is selected, sends to Voicemail if the number forwarded to does not answer.

On Timeout: If not “inactive”, calls are forwarded to the selected directory number after a number of rings with no answer.

Failover to Voice Mail : If “yes” is selected, sends to Voicemail if the number forwarded to does not answer.

Number of Rings: This number represents the number of rings your voicemail will wait before answering calls. Adjust it so that it gives you the time to easily answer your calls before it engages. 

Unavailable: If not “inactive”, calls are forwarded to the selected directory number if the line is not in service.

Failover to Voice Mail : If “yes” is selected, sends to Voicemail if the number forwarded to does not answer.

Fax configuration

Inbound/Notification Email: Enter the e-mail address to which you want the incoming PDF encoded faxes and sent notifications be sent.

Adresses Courriel permises pour l’envoi : Enter the e-mail addresses you want to allow to send faxes, one per line. You can allow all emails from a domain by adding “%@YourFullDomainName”.
